As a trial attorney and litigator, Worthy Walker has broad-based experience in prosecuting and defending claims for clients in a wide variety of business, commercial and employment cases.
His experience and common-sense approach to cases provide clients with steady advice, from pre-suit negotiations all the way through trial. Over the years, Mr. Walker has represented a wide variety of businesses, financial institutions and individuals in business disputes. This experience includes disputes involving the following industries: banking, oil and gas, software, apparel, restaurants, food supply, real estate, seismic exploration, aviation, construction and marketing.
Mr. Walker also has diverse experience in employment litigation. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants in trade secret, non-competition and non-solicitation matters. Mr. Walker has been asked to represent companies and executives in contract and severance negotiations. In addition, he has represented employers in nearly every type of employment claim, from basic discrimination claims to complex claims arising under other employment statutes.
Mr. Walker is a lifelong Texan, and often serves as local counsel to out-of-state attorneys in matters filed in Texas courts. He enjoys cycling, soccer and spending time with his wife and two children. He is also a student of communications and graphic arts.
