APPEALS

Our appellate attorneys are known for their written and oral advocacy skills in trial and appellate courts. Our attorneys have significant experience in appellate courts in and outside of Texas.

In addition to our experience in the Texas Courts of Appeals, the Texas Supreme Court and the Fifth Circuit, our attorneys have handled appeals in over half the United States Circuit Courts of Appeals and numerous other states. We have experience in a wide range of appellate matters in addition to the appeals of final judgments, including petitions for writs of mandamus and interlocutory, restricted and permissive appeals.

Our clients also utilize our appellate expertise in the trial court. Our advocacy skills, combined with our knowledge of the law, legal trends and procedure, provide additional expertise in the trial court on a wide range of matters such as jurisdictional challenges, preservation of privileges, summary judgments, sanctions, removals, remands, preservation of trial error, jury instructions, and post trial motions. We frequently provide trial support to other attorneys and firms that value our expertise at all stages of litigation.

Our appellate attorneys were pioneers in the effective use of software and e-briefs in trial and appellate courts. Using technology to advocate our client's position is more efficient, cost effective, and results in a superior form of advocacy.
