Leane Capps Medford Elected as Fellow of Texas Bar Foundation

ELROD is pleased to announce that partner Leane Capps Medford has been elected as a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.

The Texas Bar Foundation has demonstrated a profound commitment to improving the justice system in Texas. As part of this commitment, the Foundation reinvests in communities across the state to improve advocacy efforts and provide capital equipment to meet future legal assistance needs.  Since its inception in 1965, the Texas Bar Foundation has distributed well over $10 million in grants. With contributions from more than 7,500 Texas attorneys to date, the Texas Bar Foundation is the largest charitably-funded bar foundation in the country.

New Fellows are selected from 1/3 of 1% of the membership of the State Bar of Texas. Selection is based on an outstanding record in the legal profession as well as a commitment to support the community at large. Once nominees are selected, each nominee must be elected by the Texas Bar Foundation Board of Trustees.
