Elrod played a key role in the Calpine Bankruptcy, one of the largest in U.S. history. Calpine breached long-term contracts with our clients for the transportation of natural gas, and our client suffered millions of dollars in damages.

Using a flurry of depositions around the country and the bankruptcy court's short deadlines to our advantage, we built a strong case on behalf of our gas pipeline company clients.  We also gained critical leverage that reduced the case from years of litigation to resolution in merely months.  The result: our clients saved significant time and money, and they obtained more than $400 million in settlements with Calpine.
